Dallas battle ready

After a long month(s) of deciding to almost quit drawing. I forced myself to start again by starting with backgrounds. This is my third large artwork. Paper size is 19x24 inch. 

I adjusted the brightness so it would be easier to see. Looks better in person though. Camera's just don't give you what you want in quality.


I've been trying to stay away from characters for a while since I didn't have the motivation to touch them again. I know when I start work I'll have less time to draw; but I'll try anyway drawing at night even if its only a few sketches.

So, here is Dallas; getting ready to start a fight against a volcano creature. I'm not sure if I will color this, maybe but it would probably be digital since I don't want to ruin the actual artwork. This took me about 5 hours to draw.
